Now, I know there are more Terry Pratchett web pages out there than any sane person could ever want to visit, so what (you're thinking) does this one have to offer?

I'm not going to list the books or tell you about the man himself or illuminate your life with his quotes, exciting though they may be. The best place to find that sort of information is L-space. I'm not going to invite discussion from visitors: the best place for that is Usenet, on alt.fan.pratchett or alt.books.pratchett. They are both lively groups populated by intelligent and highly educated people; you really couldn't do better for that sort of discussion.

What I can offer you is an extensive resource for the temporally-challenged student: the Discworld Homework Files. If you've got an essay due by Monday, this is the place for you.
